What’s to say about the quirkiest dog ever? Jezzy lights up our lives, and is our main source of amusement and entertainment. Judy adopted Jezzy from the Kent County Humane Society (MI) in January 2007. She was about a year old, scrawny, itchy, and really a pretty sad case. She had been dropped off at the Humane Society on December 22, 2006 by a couple who was moving, expecting their first child, and was no longer interested in an energetic puppy. Lucky for us.
Without a doubt, Jezzy’s best friend is John. Since he came on the scene in 2007, she’s been stuck to him like glue. What’s not to love? She gets to go EVERYWHERE, in the truck or on foot. She’s scared of thunder, inflatable Christmas decorations, snowmen, and shopping carts, among other things. Spends plenty of time guarding the house from under or on top of the bed. She loves to hike, although she’s not crazy about carrying her own provisions in her smart little backpack. Guess we are her pack mules, roles which we are happy to fill. She runs the household, without a doubt.
