We lost the senior canine member of the family this weekend when my nephew Cosmo (Zandbergen) passed away from cancer.
An eleven year old Bull Terrier, Cosmo grew from a rambunctious pup who used his anvil-shaped head like a battering ram to push his way into any situation, into a mellow senior statesman. He never was one to allow his weight or girth to prevent him from finding a warm lap in which to snuggle. What Cosmo wanted, Cosmo got.
If you’ve ever loved a pet, you understand. Each one is unique and holds a special place in your heart.
RIP Cosmo buddy. We will always miss you.
Judy so sorry to hear about Cosmo. Please give Lynn and Jer my condolences when you see them. Damn dogs. :(

Unless you have a pet, you can’t understand how much of a family member they become and how hard it is to lose them. So sorry.

Cosmo was what we (his relatives) always called a “special case”. That applied in so many ways. ;-)
